This privacy policy applies to the Posture Reminder Journal app for handheld and mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Silver Sand Inc. (collectively, the “Application”). Silver Sand Inc. is referred to in this policy as the “Service Provider”.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The Application does not collect, log, or store personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required. If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted to facilitate network connectivity, but it is not retained or used for tracking.
Does the Application collect precise real-time location information?
No. The Application does not collect precise location information from your mobile device.
Do third parties have access to information obtained by the Application?
No. Because the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, no personal data is shared with third parties.
Opt-out rights
Because the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, uninstalling it removes the Application from your device and ends your use of it. If you contact the Service Provider directly or voluntarily provide information by other means, you may request deletion of that information by emailing fletcheramelie11@gmail.com.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or a higher age where required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them. Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, children's data is not at risk from ordinary use of the Application alone.
Security
Because the Application does not collect personal data, the risk of personal data exposure is minimal. Even so, no security system is completely secure. The Service Provider implements reasonable safeguards to protect its systems and any data it holds.
Data Breach Notification
Since the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a data breach affecting personal data is minimal. If a breach occurs involving information voluntarily provided to the Service Provider, notice will be given as required by applicable law.
Data Retention
The Application itself does not retain personal data from routine use. If you voluntarily send information to the Service Provider by email or through other direct communication channels, that information may be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, resolve the matter, comply with legal obligations, or maintain an internal record of the request.
Data Deletion
If you have voluntarily provided information to the Service Provider and would like it removed, you may request deletion by contacting fletcheramelie11@gmail.com. Requests will be reviewed and handled in line with applicable legal obligations.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the updated policy with an effective date.
